It can result from various causes, including trauma, surgical complications, or medical conditions, and poses a significant risk to health, potentially leading to shock, organ failure, and death if not promptly treated. Immediate medical intervention is often required to control the bleeding and stabilize the patient's condition.

Halima Akter, a 21-year-old housewife, lives with her husband Hiron, a day laborer, their 5-year-old daughter Tanzila, and her in-laws, Riaj and Parul, in a small tin shed with only two rooms. The family's monthly income of 7,000 Taka is barely enough to cover their basic needs, leaving them unable to afford the necessary medical treatment for Halima's advanced pregnancy. Due to her history of a prior cesarean delivery and current abdominal pain, she requires an operative management (LUCS) to ensure the safety of both herself and her baby. If left untreated, Halima could face serious complications such as uterine rupture, severe hemorrhage, or infection, all of which could endanger her health and the well-being of her child. They are reaching out to Helpster Donors for support, hoping to receive the assistance they need for a safe delivery.
Medical history
Mrs. Halima Akter required a cesarean section due to her advanced pregnancy, previous cesarean, and ongoing lower abdominal pain, which posed risks to both her and her baby. If not performed promptly, there could have been complications such as fetal distress or uterine rupture, endangering their lives. Fortunately, the operation was successful, and both mother and baby are now safe and healthy. The family is very happy and grateful to Helpster Donors and the hospital for their support in ensuring a safe delivery.
Prognosis
Mrs. Halima Akter, 21 years old, is a second gravida at 36+ weeks of pregnancy with lower abdominal pain and a history of one previous cesarean section.
