Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
In pregnant women with septicemia, labor management depends on the severity of the sepsis, gestational age, and the mother's and baby's condition. If sepsis is manageable, expectant management might be chosen to allow the pregnancy to continue, while expedited delivery may be necessary if the infection is likely from the genital tract or the mother's condition is deteriorating. Delivery may be via vaginal birth or Cesarean section, depending on the circumstances, with careful monitoring of both mother and baby.

Background
Benzia, the eldest of seven siblings, lives with her parents in a small two-room mud-walled hut. Her father is a casual laborer, earning no more than 250 shillings per day. Benzia is an active student at a technical institution and aspires to become a contractor in the future. She began experiencing labor pains, prompting her mother to rush her to the health facility. Upon arrival, she reported a headache, lower abdominal pain, and backache. She successfully delivered a baby girl with a low birth weight of 1800 grams. Both mother and child were admitted to the Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) unit for the baby's weight management. Benzia was also diagnosed with septicemia, which was successfully treated.
Medical history
Benzia was well attended immediately she was received at the facility by health personnel, she delivered well with law birth weight baby but doctors managed the condition and she is now well and ok, doing her normal daily activities.
Prognosis
Benzie was given antibiotics to control infections and if it could have remained untreated labor in pregnant women which could have developed into sepsis that is extremely dangerous and it could have lead to severe complications, including death for both the mother and the baby. Sepsis,is a life-threatening condition caused by the body's overreaction to an infection, is a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity worldwide. The combination of sepsis and labor significantly increases the risk of adverse outcomes.
