Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Fetal distress is a condition that occurs when the fetus experiences a lack of oxygen or is under stress during pregnancy or labor, often indicated by abnormal heart rate patterns. If not addressed promptly, fetal distress can lead to severe consequences, including brain damage, developmental delays, or even stillbirth, as the lack of oxygen can critically affect the fetus's health and survival. Immediate medical intervention is essential to alleviate the distress and ensure the well-being of both the mother and the baby.

Background

Jannatul Ferdous, a 20-year-old optimistic and hardworking housewife, is facing significant challenges due to her advanced pregnancy, current abdominal pain, and a history of a prior cesarean delivery. She is currently experiencing fetal distress, which adds urgency to her situation. Her family, which includes her husband Ujjol, who earns 7,000 Taka a month as a day laborer, and her grandfather Sobahan, who works as a chef earning 5,000 Taka, struggles to make ends meet with a total monthly income of only around 12000Taka. This financial strain leaves them unable to afford the necessary medical treatment, which includes an operative management (LUCS) to ensure the safety of both Jannatul and her baby. If left untreated, Jannatul could face severe complications, including uterine rupture or life-threatening hemorrhage, endangering both her health and the baby's well-being. They are reaching out to Helpster Donors for support, hoping to receive the assistance they need for a safe delivery.

Medical history

Jannatul Ferdous underwent an urgent cesarean section due to significant abdominal pain and fetal distress, which were critical indicators for immediate intervention. The procedure was essential to prevent severe complications such as uterine rupture and life-threatening hemorrhage, ensuring the safety of both mother and baby. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and both Jannatul and her baby are now safe and healthy. She and her family extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Donors, the hospital staff, and especially Dr. Maruan for their incredible support and care during this critical time.

Prognosis
