Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Malaria is a parasitic infection caused by the protozoa plasmodium and transmitted by the mosquito. It is a multi systemic disease which presents with symptoms from several systems of the body. It is a common disease which is usually seen in the tropical and subtropical regions.

Background
She is a calm girl but always active who enjoys playing with clay and water. Rabi presented with a 4-day history of high-grade fever, vomiting and general body weakness. Her parents reported a significant decrease in her activity level and appetite. On presentation at our hospital, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Malaria.
Medical history
Rabi was admittand in our facility where she was managed as a case of malaria. She received complete dosage of parenteral antimalarials and other supportive medications. She was also rehydrated with IV fluids. As the treatment progressed, she responded well as evidenced by resolving of admitting symptoms. She was later discharged home with oral medications following the improvement of her condition.
Prognosis
Malaria is treatable with ACT and other Injectables depending on the severity. When treated early and appropriately, patients respond and to the treatment and are cured of the disease, however, when left untreated it has the tendency to cause serious and life threatening complications like cerebral Malaria, Anemia etc.
