Kennedy is the youngest of four children, born into a modest family living in a poor rural village. Despite the challenging circumstances, he is a lively child who enjoys playing with his older siblings. He smiles, laughs, and responds well to speech, though he is still developing his language skills and currently only utters simple syllables like "ba," "ma," and "aah." According to his mother, Kennedy initially developed itching in his left ear, which was followed by a rash that spread to the left side of his face. Soon after, he began experiencing fever, a runny nose, and a feeling of body heat. These symptoms progressed, and he eventually began vomiting. It has now been about a week since the onset of these symptoms. When Kennedy was brought to the health facility, he was promptly assessed and treated with the appropriate medications

Kennedy was brought to the hospital presenting with symptoms of fever, vomiting, running nose and itching rash on the left side of the face and ear. Lab results of Bs and Hb showed severe malaria with anemia which warranted an admission. This was done and the child put on antimalarials, hematinic and broad spectrum antibiotics for the facial and ear infection for three days and later discharged on oral and topical medications. A call was made to the family and the mother reported the child is well and back in good health able to play with the siblings

The child was well managed after admission with both parenteral and oral anti malarial drugs, antibiotics together with haematenics to combart anaemia the child if not treated in time could have his hearing senses due to the ear infection, and even died since malaria and anaemia are both fatal. kennedy received good medication and recovered from the above named conditions and is doing well.
