Yau M., 9

Yau is a 9-year-old boy from poor home, his father was a taxi driver, and his mother is a bosefa. Yau is joyful. He likes swimming and dancing and also aspire to become an Islamic scholar in the future. About 3 years ago he was diagnosed with kidney stone and bladder in other facility,but his parent don't have enough money to pay for surgery bills. He was placed on cystone tablet (stone breaker) for two months but couldn't get rid of the stone. Radiological examination revealed larger stones involving the right kidney and bladder stone that can only be removed through surgery. He is suffering from intermittent abdominal pain, dysuria and lower back pain. On presentation at our facility, he was evaluated and diagnosed with Bladder Stone.

Yau a 9year old from family ,his father was a commercial taxi driver but lost his car to ghastly motor accident around 2023 barely 2 years ago and as a result of that,he only goes out for a casual labor to feed his family.His child was apparently well until 2months ago he developed oliguria,dysuria and lower abdominal pain.He took the child to another health care facility for treatment but symptoms persist. Upon hearing about helpster heroes through one of the beneficiaries of helpster charity,his child we quickly evaluated for bladder stone via radiological examination and was booked for elective surgery on 26/7/25.Had a successful Cystolithotomy and was discharged on 31/7/ 2025.Patient is now stable and feeling well.

Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones.
