Chelimo is the fifth-born in a family of seven and lives with her parents in a rural area, in a modest three-room house made of mud and rusted iron sheets. She is a cheerful girl who enjoys growing vegetables on their small piece of land, and she dreams of becoming a large-scale cash crop farmer in the future. She came to the health facility with complaints of labor pains, including lower abdominal pain and backache. Upon assessment, she was found to be in the second stage of labor and went on to have a spontaneous vertex delivery, giving birth to a baby weighing 3050 grams.

Chelimo had a history of using traditional remedies at home, which can pose serious risks to both pregnant mothers and their unborn infants. Recognizing the potential danger, community health promoters referred her to the health facility to receive proper medical care, with support from Helpster Charity. Upon arrival, Chelimo presented with abdominal pain, backache, and headaches as she progressed to the second stage of labor. She was carefully monitored and attended to with close medical supervision. Through skilled management, she successfully delivered a healthy baby via spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD). At the time of discharge, both Chelimo and her newborn were stable and in good health.

Chelimo was attended with care and had spontaneous vertex delivery if she could not received medical attention it could have been resulted to some complications like severe bleeding
