Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Bagana is a 15-year-old teenager from poor home. He is cheerful and love to assist his father in the farm and his mom at home during house chores. Bagana is the 3rd child of family of six (6) and he is the best child in the family because of his academic performance. His ambition is to become a Medical Doctor when he grows up. Bagana was apparently well until six (6) months ago he started developed flank and lower abdominal pain, dysuria, and bloody urine but symptoms subsided after taking some antibiotics and pain killer. Today, he was brought to UMD Medical Clinic with the complaints of inability to pass urine and was catheterized. The Doctor examined and diagnosed him with Acute urinary retention secondary to Bladder stone. He requires urgent surgery to avert further complications.
Medical history
Bagana, a 15-year-old teenager, presented with a 6-month history of flank pain, lower abdominal pain, and dysuria accompanied by bloody urine. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with Cystolithiasis(bladder stone). He underwent successful Cystolithotomy surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care. Bagana recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and has resumed his regular activities. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.
Prognosis
Treatment of larger bladder stones may require procedures such as lithotripsy (breaking the stones into smaller pieces using sound waves) or surgical removal. Additionally, measures to prevent the recurrence of bladder stones may include dietary changes, increased fluid intake, and addressing underlying conditions that contribute to stone formation.
