Her husband, Ahsan Habib, works as a day laborer earning just BDT 7,000 a month to support their small family of three, making the cost of her urgent C-section surgery impossible to afford. Despite the heavy challenges, Suraiya remains hopeful and resilient, dreaming of safely welcoming her baby into the world. Doctors have warned that without this timely operation, both Suraiya and her baby could face life-threatening complications. Caught between financial hardship and medical urgency, their family desperately needs help to ensure a safe delivery and a healthy future.
Medical history
The patient, Suraiya Khatun, a 2nd gravida at 36 weeks with a previous cesarean history, was admitted to City Clinic on 3rd July 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 7th July 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis

If the surgery is delayed or not performed, there is a significant risk of uterine rupture, which can lead to life-threatening hemorrhage, fetal distress, and potentially fatal outcomes for both mother and baby.
