Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Along siaya- Rangala road
Background
She is the eldest of six siblings and completed her secondary education in 2024. Her mother, a single parent, supports the family by selling fries by the roadside, earning approximately Kshs 200 per day. They live in a rental house where the monthly rent is Ksh 2,000. The girl is soft-spoken and has a strong passion for teaching. She disclosed her pregnancy to her mother when she was four months along. Her mother responded with calmness, offering guidance, support, and encouragement to carry the pregnancy to term. During her second trimester, she was diagnosed with pregnancy-induced hypertension, which worsened in the third trimester. As a result, she was admitted to the hospital for close monitoring for nearly a month leading up to delivery. She gave birth through a spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD) but sustained a third-degree perineal tear, which was surgically repaired under anesthesia.
Medical history
Jedida presented to the hospital with complaints of lower back pain; she went into labor and gave birth successfully but suffered a third-degree tear and had high blood pressure. Her tear was repaired, and she was administered medicine to resolve her high blood pressure. She responded well to the medication and was duly discharged on orals. A call to Jedida revealed she was okay, her wounds were also healed, and she could go about her day-to-day activities and even help with house chores.
Prognosis
Gestational hypertension, or high blood pressure during pregnancy, generally has a good prognosis with blood pressure returning to normal after delivery for most women. However, it can increase the risk of future hypertension and heart disease. A small percentage of women with gestational hypertension may develop preeclampsia, a more serious condition. . The patients blood pressure was treated and it returned to normal and is set to make a full recovery
