Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Dahiru lost his father at the age of 2 he leaves with his mother at kanamma village he is dreaming of becoming doctor to save lives. Dahiru was brought to Ayaji hospital with a high fever, characteristic cough, and lack of vaccination history and he was diagnosed with measles which is a life-threatening situation and requires attention. Laboratory investigations also revealed severe malaria and some infection. Dahiru was admitted for medical treatment for Measles, Malaria, and infection.
Medical history
Dahiru has been discharged home with administration of prescribed medications such as antipyretics and vitamin A, alongside encouragement of adequate rest, hydration, and isolation to reduce transmission; activity should be limited to allow recovery, avoiding strenuous exertion until full clinical improvement is achieved, with a gradual return to normal activities based on health status; proper hygiene and supportive care are essential, including maintaining cleanliness, ensuring good nutrition, and monitoring for symptoms such as persistent fever, rash progression, eye redness, or respiratory difficulty; furthermore, routine follow-up and monitoring are necessary to assess recovery and enable early detection of potential complications, including pneumonia, dehydration, or secondary infections.
Prognosis
Dahiru is suffering from Measles which is complicated by a secondary bacterial infection and Malaria which requires an emergency attention. The visiting pediatrician placed the child on IV Antibiotics due to the secondary bacterial infection that happened with the Measles so he had 7 days of admission and IV and then came from home for the rest. She is having a severe medical illness but is receiving care. The prognosis is good, but the chance of death is high if not treated early.
