When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Dinusha is a 7 y.o. girl, currently a first grader. However, due to her continued health concerns and her breathing difficulties her mother has decided to home-school her. Amidst her many difficulties both due to her health and due to the huge financial setbacks they overcome as her mother is a single parent providing for her and her siblings, Dinusha is quite a wilful child who loves to play and takes to her studies quite well.
Medical history
During her inward management, she was treated for her upper respiratory tract infection with antibiotic treatment and symptom control. It was arranged for her to get an MRI to visualize her airways , which she didn't go through as she struggled during the procedure that failed to get an accurate result. the need to place her under general anesthesia for the MRI was discussed although it could not be arranged during this hospital stay due to many other complications. on discharge, we have placed her on antibiotic treatment and anti histamine treatments to blocking of her upper airways and to minimize infection.
Prognosis
This child requires a MRI of her brain and neck to determine if her condition is caused by an underlying neurological pathology. Dinusha doesn't have the luxury of time to wait for a slot for this investigation to be provided from the public health sector. Thus her condition remains hopeless until she can get this investigation done and get the necessary treatment that follows.
