Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About malaria + rti
Malaria is a parasitic disease transmitted by the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. It causes symptoms like high fever, chills, headache, vomiting, and body weakness. If not treated early, it can lead to severe complications such as anemia, cerebral malaria, or death, especially in children and pregnant women. Respiratory Tract Infection (RTI) refers to infections that affect the respiratory system, either in the upper parts (like the nose, throat, and sinuses) or the lower parts (like the bronchi and lungs). Common symptoms include cough, fever, sore throat, nasal congestion, and breathing difficulty. RTIs are often viral but can also be bacterial, especially in more severe cases. They spread easily through coughs, sneezes, and contact with contaminated surfaces, and are more serious in young children, the elderly, or those with weak immunity.

Background
Isah is the first child of his parents, he is a well to do child according to the parents and they are very proud of him. He is always running errands to his parents. He always finds it difficult to go to school. The parents are doing their best to send Isah and his siblings to school. Isah started having abdominal pains, he has been complaining to the parents for quite a very long time, though some drugs were bought to stop the pains, no positive results as Helpster is here now to intervene. On presentation at our hospital, he was evaluated and diagnosed with Malaria and Respiratory Tract Infection
Medical history
Isah was presented to Albishir clinic with symptoms of malaria. The doctor examined him and issued out tests which revealed malaria as well as respiratory tract infections. He was admitted and administered antimalarials as well as antibiotics which supported Isah to recover. The doctor advised that his condition should be supported with good nutrition and implore the parents to bring him for follow up after the oral medications for Isah are completely taken as prescribed, he is currently doing well. The parents are happy and are thankful for saving their son. They were discharged after the doctor was satisfied with his recovery.
Prognosis
For malaria, it is noted that the prognosis is excellent when diagnosed early and treated promptly with antimalarial medications. Most patients recover fully within days. However, if treatment is delayed—especially in severe cases—it can lead to complications like coma, organ failure, or death. Respiratory Tract Infections (RTIs) usually have a good prognosis, especially mild cases like colds or sore throats, which clear up with rest and fluids. More serious RTIs, like pneumonia, need prompt treatment and can be risky for the elderly, infants, or those with weak immunity. Doctors stress early care and prevention through hygiene and, when needed, vaccination.
