Nasir is an 11 year old cheerful child who likes playing with her friends and also have to dream to become a teacher in the future. A boy with very poor family background lives in jiddari polo of Maiduguri. About 2 years ago he started experiencing right loin pain, lower back pain and dysuria. he was presented to different health facilities and was diagnosed with right kidney stone, and he was planned for surgery, but her parent doesn't have enough money to pay for the bills. However, upon hearing about Helpster when the volunteer visited their slum, they brought the child to our health facility so that she can benefit from the free surgery. On presentation at our hospital, he was evaluated and diagnosed with Right Kidney Stone.

Nasir Umar, an 11-year-old male, was referred to our facility with a kidney stone. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he underwent elective nephrolithotomy. The surgery was successful without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 5 days for close monitoring and treatment. The patient recovered well and was discharged home after 5 days, with follow-up care scheduled for 1 week. Currently, the patient is doing well, has recovered, and has resumed regular activities at home.

Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones.
