If a repeat CS is not performed when medically indicated, there is an increased risk of complications such as uterine rupture, severe bleeding, and fetal distress, which can lead to life-threatening situations for both mother and baby. Without timely surgical intervention, the chances of maternal morbidity and mortality significantly rise, and the likelihood of adverse neonatal outcomes also increases.

Background
Munni Khatun, a 34-week pregnant woman, is anxiously awaiting her upcoming C-section, but her family’s monthly income of only BDT 8,000 makes it impossible to afford the necessary surgical expenses. Her husband, Al Amin, works as a day laborer, earning just enough to cover basic needs for their family of five, including their young daughter Atia Moni. With her previous delivery by C-section and the high risks associated with late or unaffordable medical care, Munni faces the danger of severe complications or even life-threatening emergencies if she cannot access the surgery in time. Without proper medical intervention, both mother and baby are at serious risk of health deterioration or worse outcomes. The family’s limited resources leave them helpless in ensuring Munni receives the urgent care she desperately needs.
Medical history
Munni Khatun and her newborn are in good health now. Her family like husband, father and mother came to hospital for receiving her and her child.
