Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology
Breech presentation is a condition where the baby is positioned in the uterus with its pelvis or feet facing downward instead of the head, which is the normal position for delivery. If not treated or managed properly, it can lead to complications such as birth trauma, cord prolapse, asphyxia, or even stillbirth during delivery.

Background
Sanu Rani, a 27-year-old woman, is 27 weeks pregnant with her second baby, which is in breech position, and her doctor has advised a C-section to prevent life-threatening complications. Her husband, Sonjoy Birmon, a day laborer earning only 6,000 Taka per month, cannot afford the high cost of the surgery. Their family lives in a small tin house with limited electricity, and they are deeply worried because their first baby died from pneumonia shortly after birth. Without the necessary C-section, Sanu Rani faces serious risks such as obstructed labor or fetal distress, which could endanger both her life and her baby's. They are seeking help to ensure she receives the treatment needed to protect their family’s future.
Medical history
The patient, Sanu Rani Rumpa 2nd gravida at with a previous cesarean history, was admitted to City Clinic on 24th September 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy baby. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment
Prognosis
Sanu Rani, at 27+ weeks of pregnancy with a breech presentation and a history of adverse obstetric outcomes, requires an urgent cesarean section to prevent complications such as cord prolapse, fetal distress, and obstructed labor. Without timely surgical intervention, she is at high risk for severe maternal hemorrhage, uterine rupture, and potentially fatal outcomes for both mother and fetus.
