Background
Khuse Akter is a 20-year-old housewife from a very poor family, living with her husband Hafijul, a day laborer, and their four family members in a small home. She is 37 weeks pregnant and has been suffering from PV water discharge, which requires an urgent C-section delivery to save both her and her baby's lives. Her family’s monthly income of only BDT 8,000 is barely enough to cover their basic needs, and they have no savings or access to affordable healthcare. Without immediate medical intervention, Khuse risks severe complications or even losing her life, and her unborn baby could also be in danger. The family is desperately seeking help to ensure she receives the urgent treatment she needs before it’s too late.
Medical history
Khushe Akter was admitted to the hospital on June 22, 2025, with a diagnosis of PV Discharge. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Both mother and newborn were discharged on June 26, 2025, in good health. Her husband came to the hospital to receive her and their child.
