Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Otitis media is an infection of the middle ear mostly caused by bacteria. Presents with pain and sometimes discharge from the affected ear which may lead to deafness if left untreated. Tinea corporis is a fungal infection of the body in which the affected patient present with circular and itchy rashes on the body.

Background
Umar is a gentle and shy boy who's always focused on going to school and helping his father. He wants to be a doctor. Umar presented with a 5-day history of severe ear pain, discharge from the left ear, and itchy, circular rashes on her arms and torso. He reported difficulty hearing and feeling feverish. On presentation at the hospital, Umar was examined and found to have Otitis Media and Tinea Corporis.
Medical history
Umar was admitted in our facility where he was managed as a case of Severe Otitis media of the left ear complicated by tinea corporis. He had his parenteral antibiotics and Analgesics, antibiotics ear drops and topical antifungal. He responded well to the treatment as the presenting symptoms subsided. He was later discharged home with oral medications following the improvement of his condition to continue with his follow-up.
Prognosis
With good antibiotics, Analgesics and ear care, otitis media is curable, however, without treatment it can lead to deafness of the affected ear. Tinea corporis is also treatable with the antifungal medications.
