Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Nuri Khatun is 28 weeks of viable single pregnancy with breech position. Breech presentation is a condition where the baby is positioned in the uterus with its pelvis or feet facing downward instead of the head, which is the normal position for delivery. If not treated or managed properly, it can lead to complications such as birth trauma, cord prolapse, asphyxia, or even stillbirth during delivery.

Background

Nuri Khatun, a 16-year-old housewife, is filled with dread as she learns that her 28-week pregnancy is complicated by a breech position that requires an urgent C-section. Her husband, Abdul Haque, a 30-year-old day laborer, works tirelessly for a modest monthly income of 7000 taka, which barely supports their household that includes Nuri’s elderly father-in-law, Sowkat Ali, and her caring mother-in-law, Ahila Begum. The weight of their financial struggles makes the concept of affording such medical care feel like an impossible dream. Nuri fears that without the necessary surgery, both she and her unborn child could suffer severe risks, including critical complications that threaten their lives. Driven by an unwavering love for her family and a desire to bring her child into the world safely, Nuri reaches out to Helpster Charity, hopeful that their support can change her family's fate for the better.

Medical history

Nuri Khatun was admitted to the hospital on September 04, 2025, with a diagnosis of a first time pregnancy with Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Both mother and newborn were discharged on September 08, 2025, in good health. Her husband came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic and Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. Her husband was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Prognosis

Breech presentation, where the baby's bottom or feet are positioned to deliver first instead of the head, is associated with several risk factors, including prematurity, multiple gestations, uterine abnormalities (like fibroids or abnormal shape), placenta previa, and fetal malformations or conditions. That's why it is is needed to conduct C- Section.
