Despite his gentle and hopeful nature, Anamul is a bright boy who loves reading and dreams of a better future, but his poor vision in his left eye has gradually worsened over the years, making it difficult for him to study and participate in daily activities. If he does not receive the necessary surgery, his vision will continue to decline, potentially leading to complete blindness in that eye, which would severely limit his independence, educational opportunities, and future prospects. Without timely treatment, Anamul’s life could be permanently affected, trapping him further in poverty and preventing him from achieving his dreams of education and a better life.

Anamul Haque, a 16-year-old boy, required cataract surgery in his left eye as his vision was severely impaired by the condition. He underwent surgery with intraocular lens implantation under general anesthesia, performed by Dr. Taslima Akter Tania, Consultant of the Hospital. The procedure was successful, and his visual acuity has improved significantly. Anamul can now see clearly with his operated eye, giving him the opportunity to continue his studies and daily life with ease.
