Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Tonsillitis is an inflammation of the tonsils that causes pain when swallowing and can lead to upper respiratory infections. If left untreated, it can cause serious complications such as abscess formation, difficulty breathing, and the spread of infection to other parts of the body. In the worst cases, untreated tonsillitis can result in life-threatening conditions like rheumatic fever or kidney problems.

Background
Suraiya, a bright 14-year-old with a dream of becoming a doctor, has been suffering from chronic tonsillitis for six years, with painful symptoms like a severe sore throat and difficulty breathing. Her father, the sole earner, works as a charger van driver and his meager monthly income of 7,000 taka is just enough to cover basic needs, making the required surgery financially impossible. The family, burdened by debt, has watched helplessly as Suraiya’s condition worsened, knowing that without the operation, she could face life-threatening complications like an abscess or rheumatic fever. Fortunately, at a health camp, they learned of Helpster Charity, offering a glimmer of hope for her recovery and a chance to fulfill her dreams.
Medical history
Suraiya Khatun has been suffering from severe sore throat, difficulty in swallowing, fever and difficulty in breathing for the last 6 years. A few years ago, after thorough tests, the doctor diagnosed her with chronic tonsillitis, indicating that she needed surgery to completely relieve it. Her surgery was successfully completed by the skilled team of surgeons at RUDO Hospital. She is now healthy. There is some pain in the throat. Medication has been advised. We hope to return to a completely normal life in 7-10 days. She will be able to eat normal food. Her family expressed their immense gratitude and said, "We are incredibly grateful for the kindness of Helpster Heroes and RUDO Hospital; you have given our daughter a new lease of life!"
Prognosis
Suraiya has been suffering from long-standing tonsillitis, with enlarged tonsils trapping bacteria and viruses, causing repeated infections, vomiting, and severe pain; she urgently needs an adenotonsillectomy to prevent further complications. If left untreated, her condition could worsen, leading to airway obstruction, difficulty breathing, spread of infection to other parts of the body, or more serious health issue
