Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About malaria and respiratory tract infection
Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by Plasmodium parasites, transmitted through the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. It primarily affects the blood and liver, leading to symptoms like fever, chills, anemia, and body weakness. Without prompt treatment, malaria can cause severe complications such as cerebral malaria, organ failure, and death. A respiratory tract infection (RTI) is an infection that affects any part of the respiratory system, including the nose, throat, airways, or lungs. It is commonly caused by viruses or bacteria and presents with symptoms like cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, or difficulty breathing. RTIs are classified as upper (e.g., common cold, pharyngitis) or lower (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia) and can range from mild to life-threatening.

Background
Aisha is 7 years old. She is always seen around her mother, she is always happy being around other kids too. Her mother always makes sure she is clean and closely on sight. Aisha apparently became so weak all of a sudden, her temperature rising, having heavy head, abdominal pains, throwing up and rejecting food. The mother heard about Helpster Charity and immediately sought for help at Albishir Clinic. On presentation at our hospital, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Malaria and Respiratory Tract Infection.
Medical history
The diagnoses for Aisha was malaria and respiratory tract infection. Helpster Charity gave a full support with Aisha's treatment as the doctor prescribed some antimalarial drugs and antibiotics as well as other supportive medications at Albishir Clinic. She was kept under close observation, there was positive response to treatment. The parents are all happy and appreciated Helpster Charity. They discharged Aisha and placed under some take home drugs. A day for follow up was given for them to revisit the hospital. They were advised on good nutrition and good hygiene to combat mosquito spread.
Prognosis
It is emphasized that malaria, if diagnosed early and treated promptly, has a good prognosis but can lead to severe complications or death if left untreated. In contrast, respiratory tract infections (RTIs) often resolve with appropriate antibiotics or supportive care, though severe or recurrent RTIs may signal underlying health issues. Both conditions require timely medical intervention, as delayed treatment increases the risk of complications, especially in children, the elderly, and immunocompromised patients.
