Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Yahaya Mohammed is a 14-year-old boy who lives in Zaria with his parents, siblings, and grandparents in their family house. He is currently in Primary 5 at Command Children Primary School. Yahaya is an active member of his community, volunteering as a guard at their local mosque. He is passionate about serving his country and dreams of becoming a soldier in the future to help defend Nigeria. The child was born with congenital Cataract of the left eye. He was taken to the hospital at age 5 but they still did not have the money for surgery. It was when they heard about Helpster Charity that they came down to get help. The child saw the doctor and the doctor evaluated him and diagnosed him with Left Congenital Cataract and Visual Impairments. He was scheduled for surgery awaiting Helpster's approval.
