Background
Mopashera Khatun, an 11-year-old student from a very poor family, has been suffering from severe throat pain and fever for the past six months. Her father, Motalleb Hossain, a truck driver earning only 8,000 Taka per month, struggled to afford her initial treatment and had to visit a traditional healer before finally consulting a doctor. Despite being diagnosed with chronic tonsillitis, her family cannot afford the high cost of surgery needed to remove her inflamed tonsils. If she does not receive proper surgical treatment soon, her condition could worsen, leading to difficulty breathing, swallowing problems, or even life-threatening infections. The family is desperately seeking help at Mother Clinic to save Mopashera’s health and future.
Medical history
Mopashera Khatun was admitted to the hospital on July 21, 2025, with Adeno-tonsillitis. On the same day, doctor conducted Adeno-tonsillectomy. After five days, she was discharged on July 26, 2025, in good health. Her father and mother came to the hospital to receive her. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support.
