Asiya Khatun, a dedicated wife and mother of one, faced the daunting reality of her family's poverty when an emergency C-section became necessary for her high-risk pregnancy. Despite her husband's tireless work as a blacksmith's assistant, his meager earnings of 5,000 taka a month were barely enough to feed their family of four, let alone cover the high cost of a life-saving operation. The thought of losing both his wife and unborn child terrified her husband and elderly mother-in-law, as they understood that without this urgent surgery, Asiya could suffer a uterine rupture, a potentially fatal complication for both mother and baby. Without Helpster Charity's intervention, their family would face an unthinkable tragedy, losing the very person who held their modest life together.

Asiya came to RUDO Hospital with a complicated case a full-term (37+ weeks) single live pregnancy with several risk factors a previous Caesarean section (due to bad obstetric history), mild oligohydramnios with mild anemia and a urinary tract infection (UTI). She presenting with labor pain 14+ hours and less fetal movement, raising serious concern for both mother and child. Thanks to the expertise of our experienced gynecologist surgeons, an emergency Caesarean section was performed successfully. Moments later, Asiya welcomed a beautiful baby boy, whom she lovingly named Mohammad Abdullah. Both mother and child are stable and healthy. Asiya will remain Hospital admitted for 5–7 days to ensure safe recovery. An emergency C-section is critical for Asiya's and her baby's safety. Without this surgery, the existing complications, particularly oligohydramnios and a previous C-section scar, could lead to a uterine rupture, a life-threatening event for both mother and child. If left untreated, the diminished amniotic fluid and decreased fetal movement could lead to fetal distress, severe brain damage, or even stillbirth. An immediate LUCS will prevent these catastrophic outcomes, ensuring a healthy delivery and a full recovery for both Asiya and her newborn.
