Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Mother developed complications of Hypertension in pregnancy and she had threat to life and had to deliver the baby as emergency at 7 months old. As a severe low weight birth baby with complications of prematurity, jaundice, difficulty breathing, and infections. Christy has to stay in the incubator until she is well enough to survive without it. The mother is a teacher at a primary school and has resigned from the school work because of the health issues. She loves to teach children. The child have been treated for 1 month and discharged September 9th, 2023
Medical history
Baby Christabel was born at 7months, which was 2 months before maturity. Upon evaluation - she was diagnosed as a severely preterm premature baby. At birth she weighed around 1 kg and had to nursed as a preterm baby in an incubator for almost 4 weeks to enable her mature. On admission, she was facing several preterm complications and immediate Neonatal ICU care was initiated to save her life. She was seen by neonatal specialist, had multiple investigations, and medications. Upon improvement clinically, with weight gain, able to feed, amongst other parameter, she was discharged home with the parents as she can then survive outside of the incubator environment. The parents were so glad and grateful of Helpster's intervention as the cost of daily NICU care was too high for them to afford.
Prognosis
Good prognosis if the baby stays in the incubator until her weight reaches 1.5 kg. Will not survive without the incubator.
