FATIMA ABDULLAHI IS A 19-YEAR-OLD SHE ENJOYS READING FATIMA DREAMS OF BECOMING A NURSA ONE DAY. Fatima a 19-year-old began experiencing sharp abdominal pain two days before she was admitted to general hospital Nguru. The pain started around her belly button and later moved to the lower right side of her abdomen. It was accompanied by fever, nausea, and loss of appetite. After examination and tests, she was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, a condition that requires urgent surgery. On presentation at the hospital, Fatima was evaluated thoroughly and diagnosed with Acute Appendicitis.

Fatima Abdullahi, a 19-year-old female diagnosed with acute appendicitis, was admitted to General Hospital Nguru on 10th July 2025. She was managed initially with nil per oral (NPO) status, intravenous fluids, and pre-operative antibiotics (Ceftriaxone and Metronidazole). Following clinical evaluation and imaging, she underwent a successful appendectomy under anesthesia. Post-operative care included pain management and wound care. The surgery was supported by Helpster Charity. THE DOCTOR PROGNOSIS IS THAT WITH TIMELY SURGERY APPENDECTOMY, FATIMA IS EXPECTED TO MAKE A FULL RECOVERY AND RETURN TO HER NORMAL LIFE WITHOUT LONG TERM EFFECTS. Prognosis is good with prompt and effective treatment, if not she might have appendix rupture and severe complications that might result to death.
