Jenifer is a 17-year-old girl who lives in a children’s home. She is an orphan who enjoys watching movies and playing basketball. The children’s home relies entirely on support from well-wishers. Jenifer dreams of becoming a doctor in the future. She was abandoned by the roadside as an infant and rescued by a good Samaritan who reported the incident to the police. Despite efforts, her parents or any relatives have never been found. Recently, her school teacher noticed she was struggling to concentrate in class and observed symptoms including coughing, fever, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. When over-the-counter painkillers failed to help, a volunteer brought her to Rheemah Hospital for medical attention. She was examined by a doctor and given the appropriate treatment.

Jennifer presented with severe headache, chest pains, chills and GBM. Treatment was done and Jeniffer responded well with treatment. She is now in school continuing with her studies. If Pneumonia is left untreated, it will lead to serious and potentially life-threatening complications like Respiratory failure and Lung complications like abscesses, fluid buildup, or pus around the lungs. Serious and urgent medications is required.
