Background
Isaiah is a fifteen years old primary school student who would like to work hard in school and be an engineer when he grows up. He has been apparently well, until this morning when he took a drink that contained some milk. Isaiah is allergic to milk protein. He has been having generalized unbearable body itchiness since then.
Medical history
Isaiah experienced a severe allergic reaction called anaphylaxis, but it was quickly treated before it could become more serious. Additionally, he was diagnosed with moderate anemia, which was also promptly addressed with medication to prevent it from worsening.
Prognosis
An untreated anaphylactic reaction, a severe and life-threatening allergic response, can quickly escalate and lead to a cascade of dangerous symptoms, including difficulty breathing, a drop in blood pressure, loss of consciousness, and even cardiac arrest. Without immediate intervention, anaphylaxis can be fatal. The primary treatment for anaphylaxis is epinephrine, which helps reverse the severe symptoms by constricting blood vessels and opening airways. longside epinephrine, individuals experiencing anaphylaxis typically require emergency medical attention, including oxygen therapy, intravenous fluids, and antihistamines or corticosteroids to reduce inflammation
