Her current status is critical and requires immediate medical intervention to prevent serious harm or even death for both her and the baby.

Background
Asma Begum, a 29-year-old pregnant housewife, and her husband Riazul Islam, a daily wage laborer, live in constant hardship, struggling to support their five-person family on his meager income of just 7,000 taka a month. The family's limited income makes it impossible to afford the emergency medical care needed for Asma's sudden complication—severe oligohydramnios and less fetal movement. The entire family, including her ten-year-old daughter Maisha, is terrified, knowing that without immediate intervention, the lack of amniotic fluid could lead to the baby's death due to cord compression or fetal distress. The dream of a healthy baby is at risk, and the family is overwhelmed by the impossible choice between their financial survival and the life of their unborn child.
Medical history
After experiencing less fetal movement and lower abdominal pain , she arrived at our hospital where doctors performed an ultrasound that revealed scanty amniotic fluid volume and fetal distress , making vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful male baby . Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.
Prognosis
An immediate emergency C-section is the only way to save both Asma Begum and her baby. Without this surgery, the severe oligohydramnios and fetal distress would lead to catastrophic outcomes, including severe brain damage or even stillbirth due to a lack of oxygen. The previous C-section also increases the risk of uterine rupture, which is a life-threatening complication for the mother. A timely and successful C-section will not only prevent these fatal outcomes but also give Asma's baby a chance at a healthy life.
