Vincent Kibuja Sokoiro is a lively and energetic 4-year-old boy who lives with his parents and two siblings in the slums near Ngong Hills. Known for his cheerful demeanor and playful spirit, Vincent enjoys playing with toys and rarely stays still. He is naturally curious and often pretends to build or fix things during play, showing an early interest in how things work. With a vivid imagination and joyful personality, Vincent dreams of becoming an engineer someday. Despite the hardships of his environment, his enthusiasm and creativity highlight his bright potential. When Vincent was about one and a half years old, his mother Josephine noticed that his genitalia appeared unusual. Concerned, she took him to a local doctor who reassured her that it was not a serious issue and that the testes would descend on their own over time. However, years later, she observed no improvement and grew increasingly worried about his condition. The child has also been complaining of pain in the lower part of the abdomen, making the doctors get concerned about possibility of torsion of the undescended testes.

Vincent was admitted with Impalpable testes in the scrotal sac for over 3 years child is now 4years. Cryptorchidism is a medical condition where one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum before birth (Undescended testes). Torsion of testis is a twisted testicle, cutting off blood supply and is a surgical emergency. Procedure was succesfuly done on date 6/11/2025 and vincent was later discharged on date 8/11/2025. Vincent was Admitted for 3 days. Vincent was discharged on a stable condition. Vincent made a call and confirmed that Vincent doing well.

Doctors view cryptorchidism (undescended testis) as a common but important condition. If the testicle doesn’t descend by 6 months, surgery is recommended between 6–12 months to lower risks of infertility and cancer. Early treatment leads to a good outcome, and regular follow-up ensures proper testicular development.
