About plasmodiasis
Plasmodiasis, commonly known as malaria, is an infectious disease caused by Plasmodium parasites transmitted through bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. It presents with fever, chills, sweating, headache, and body weakness, and can progress to severe anemia or organ failure if untreated. Prevention involves mosquito control, bed nets, prophylactic drugs, and prompt treatment with effective antimalarials.

Background
Hephzibah is a child of 2 years old, growing happily under her parent's watch. She is the second child of her parents among the 2 of them. She will soon be enrolled into nursery school. One day, Hephzibah woke up with some strange feelings, having abdominal pain, looking weak as well as high body temperature. Even after visiting the chemist for help, nothing actually changed the situation. A fellow called me who is volunteering and I invited them to Albishir for proper evaluation. Upon presentation and evaluation she was diagnosed of PLASMODIASIS
Medical history
Hephzibah a 2 years old girl has shown good recovery following antimalarial treatment, with resolution of fever, chills, and body weakness. Laboratory tests confirm clearance of parasites from the bloodstream, and vital signs remain stable. The patient has regained appetite, strength, and normal activity levels, indicating successful recovery and fitness for discharge with preventive advice, all with the support of Helpster Charity and good medical attention from Whole care Clinic.
Prognosis
With early diagnosis and effective antimalarial treatment, plasmodiasis generally has an excellent prognosis. Delayed or inadequate treatment can lead to severe complications such as cerebral malaria, kidney failure, or death. High-risk groups like children, pregnant women, and immunocompromised individuals face poorer outcomes without prompt care.
