Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Arafat, a vibrant 7-year-old with a love for football and a bright future ahead of him, has had his life shadowed by the constant pain of an inguinal hernia since he was just one. The young boy’s dreams of becoming a government employee and lifting his family out of poverty, a dream his mother holds dear, seem to be slipping away with every bout of fever and every tear shed in pain. His father's meager monthly income of 7,000 taka is barely enough to cover the family of five’s food and electricity, leaving no room for the surgery Arafat desperately needs. Without this operation, the hernia will continue to cause severe discomfort, potentially leading to a strangulated hernia—a life-threatening condition where blood flow is cut off, which could tragically end his young life.
Medical history
The talented and cheerful boy Arafat Hossain was admitted to our hospital on March 12, 2026 with a congenital inguinal hernia. For a long time, this condition had been causing him discomfort and affecting his daily activities, making even simple tasks like playing sports or running painful. After admission, our medical team carefully examined him and prepared him for surgery. The hernioplasty was successfully performed under general anesthesia. Throughout the operation, the doctors ensured that every step was taken with precision and care. After the surgery, Arafat's recovery was smooth. With proper post-operative care, medication, and guidance given to his family, he quickly regained his strength. Within a short time, he was able to return home in a stable condition, smiling and playful. His parents expressed their immense gratitude and said how relieved they were to see their son healthy and happy again. Arafat's mother expresses immense gratitude to Helpster Charity and RUDO Hospital
