Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About diagnostics
Adenotonsillitis: Adenotonsilitis is a condition characterized by the inflammation and swelling of both the adenoids and the tonsils, which are part of the body's immune system. Located in the back of the throat, these tissues can become chronically enlarged due to repeated infections, often caused by bacteria or viruses. This persistent swelling can lead to significant health issues, including difficulty breathing, interrupted sleep, chronic ear infections, and swallowing problems. The condition can severely impact a person's quality of life and development, particularly in children, making it a crucial health concern.

Background
Mostakim Hossain is a bright 10-year-old boy studying at a Madrasha, with dreams of completing his education and securing a good job to support his family in the future. For the last ten months, he has been suffering from severe throat pain and fever, which later was diagnosed as Adeno-tonsillitis, requiring surgery. His parents, already struggling to provide food and education for the family, cannot afford the high cost of the operation. Without treatment, Mostakim’s condition may worsen, causing difficulty in eating, constant infections, and serious long-term health risks. Despite his courage and determination, his illness and the family’s poverty stand in the way of his dreams

Prognosis
Without treatment, chronic adenotonsillitis can have a severe impact on a child's overall health and development. The doctor's prognosis would likely emphasize that leaving the condition untreated will lead to persistent breathing difficulties, sleep disruption, and recurrent infections, all of which can hinder growth and academic performance. If the condition is addressed through surgical removal of the tonsils and adenoids (adenotonsillectomy), the prognosis is excellent, often leading to a dramatic improvement in the child's quality of life. Treatment can resolve breathing problems, improve sleep patterns, and reduce the frequency of infections, allowing the child to thrive physically and developmentally. Therefore, timely medical intervention is crucial to prevent long-term complications and ensure the child's well-being.
