Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About malaria +enteric fever
Malaria is a mosquito-borne parasitic disease causing fever, chills, headache, and anemia, common in tropical regions. Enteric fever (typhoid/paratyphoid) is a bacterial infection from contaminated food or water, leading to prolonged fever, abdominal pain, and sometimes rash. Both require early diagnosis and specific treatment to prevent severe complications and death.

Background
Fatima is 7years old. She is currently in her 2nd year in primary school. She is the 5th among 6 children and the parents are very happy to have her around. Fatima became so sick making the parents worried, she started having headache, fever and vomited twice. They were asked to visit Albishir Hospital and Maternity by a neighbor to get help from Helpster Charity. Upon presentation she was diagnosed with Malaria and enteric fever.
Medical history
Fatima being diagnosed with malaria and enteric fever has responded well to treatment, with complete resolution of fever, chills, abdominal discomfort, and weakness. Antimalarial and antibiotic therapies were effective, supported by stable vital signs and improved laboratory findings. The patient has regained appetite, energy, and normal daily activity, indicating favorable recovery and readiness for discharge with follow-up care.
Prognosis
With prompt and appropriate treatment, malaria and enteric fever usually have good recovery rates. Delayed care can lead to life-threatening complications such as cerebral malaria or intestinal perforation. Children, pregnant women, and immunocompromised patients are at higher risk for poor outcomes.
