Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Abjah is the first child of his parent, he has 2 siblings. He is living with his parents and attends a primary school nearby. His father is a plumber and the mother is petty trader in their small community. Abjah has been complaining to the mother of cold even when the weather is hot, he also has catarrh. The mother only gave him paracetamol as there is no money to take him to the hospital. They were informed about Helpster Charity from a neighbor. They are happy and wish to be part of this life saving program. They visited Albishir Clinic and Maternity for proper check up and he was diagnosed of malaria and respiratory tract infection

Medical history

Abjah, a 7 years old boy was diagnosed with malaria and respiratory tract infection, has shown good recovery after appropriate treatment, with resolution of fever, chills, cough, and breathing difficulty. Antimalarial and antibiotic therapies were effective, leading to stable vital signs and improved respiratory function. He has regained appetite, strength, and normal activity, indicating successful recovery and readiness for discharge with follow-up care. They appreciate Helpster Charity for the support given.

Prognosis

With early diagnosis and proper treatment, malaria and RTIs generally have a good prognosis. Delayed care can lead to severe complications like organ damage, respiratory failure, or death. Children, pregnant women, and immunocompromised individuals face higher risks of poor outcomes.
