Aina’u Adamu is a lively and kind-hearted 7-year-old girl from Tsohon Nguru. She enjoys playing outdoor games with her friends, especially skipping and hide-and-seek. She also loves helping her mother with small chores at home and has a growing interest in reading storybooks. Aina’u dreams of becoming a teacher one day so she can help other children learn and succeed. Her cheerful nature and curiosity make her well-loved in her community. Aina’u Adamu, a 7-year-old girl, developed high fever, chills, weakness, headache, and poor appetite over four days due to acute uncomplicated malaria.
Medical history
Aina’u Adamu was admitted in general hospital nguru on 3rd August 2025. treated with a 3-day course of ACT, paracetamol for fever, oral rehydration, nutritional support, and hematinics for mild anemia. Her condition improved steadily, with fever resolving and appetite returning by the third day. She was discharged in good health on August 7, 2025, with no complications.thank you helpster charity for the medical support.
Prognosis
The doctor’s prognosis is positive—Aina’u is expected to recover fully with proper treatment, as seen during her hospital stay. However, if left untreated, malaria could lead to serious complications like severe anemia, organ damage, or even death, especially in young children.
