Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About malaria + rti
Malaria: A mosquito-borne infection by Plasmodium parasites, common in tropical regions. Typical features are cyclical fever, chills, sweats, headache, and weakness; red-flag signs include confusion, severe anemia, jaundice, breathing difficulty, or low urine output. Diagnosis is by rapid diagnostic tests or blood smear. Uncomplicated cases respond well to artemisinin-based combination therapy; severe malaria requires IV artesunate and supportive care. Prevention relies on insecticide-treated nets, indoor residual spraying, eliminating standing water, repellents, and (where available/indicated) malaria chemoprevention. Respiratory Tract Infections (RTI): Infections of the airways, either upper (colds, pharyngitis, sinusitis) or lower (bronchitis, pneumonia). Viruses are most common; bacteria (and occasionally fungi) cause a minority but more severe disease. Symptoms include cough, fever, sore throat, chest pain, shortness of breath, or sputum; red flags are severe breathlessness, confusion, low oxygen, chest retractions, or dehydration. Diagnosis is mainly clinical; lower RTIs may need chest X-ray, pulse oximetry, or labs. Management ranges from rest, fluids, and antipyretics for viral URIs to targeted antibiotics for bacterial infections, plus oxygen/airway support when needed. Prevention: hand hygiene, masking when ill, avoiding smoke, and vaccines (influenza, pneumococcal, COVID-19).

Background
Daniel is the 1st child in the lives of his parents. The father is a security guard and the mother is a petty trader in their small community. He is a very happy child as he admired by other children in the community. Daniel has been having high body temperature, refusing to feed and crying in the last 3 nights. The mother gave him some paracetamol syrup but there is no positive change with his health. One day, a call reached a volunteer at Helpster Charity, who gave them more information which prompt them to come to Albishir for proper evaluation. Daniel was properly checked and diagnosed with malaria respiratory tract infection.
Medical history
Daniel being treated for malaria and respiratory tract infection has shown significant improvement. Symptoms of fever, chills, cough, and breathing difficulty have subsided after appropriate antimalarial and antibiotic therapy, no allergies nor reactions. He is stable, active, and feeding well, indicating full recovery and readiness for discharge with follow-up advice.
Prognosis
Prognosis is good with early treatment but can be fatal if delayed—highest risk in young children, pregnant women, and immunocompromised people. Most RTIs resolve fully; risks of complications are higher in infants, older adults, and those with chronic illnesses.
