Her current health problem began with her first pregnancy, which had a difficult outcome and led to a C-section. This time, the baby is in a breech position, a serious complication that, combined with her past medical history, makes a vaginal birth life-threatening. She is currently experiencing intermittent abdominal pain, indicating the urgency of her condition. Without a C-section, she and her baby are at high risk of severe injury or even death during delivery.

Background
Rima Rani, a devoted wife and mother, and her husband, Bishnu, a small farmer, are living in fear as her high-risk pregnancy threatens their family's well-being. With a history of a complicated first birth and a baby now in a breech position, an emergency C-section is required, but Bishnu's meager monthly income of 7,000 BDT is not nearly enough to cover the expense. The thought of losing his wife and unborn child terrifies the entire family, who know that without the surgery, a dangerous vaginal birth could lead to severe injury or even death for both mother and baby. Without a miracle, their dream of a healthy family will be shattered, leaving their 4-year-old son without his mother and a new sibling.
Medical history
The patient,Rima Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 9th December 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 2.8 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 13th December 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
An C-section is the only safe option for Rima Rani and her baby. Without this surgery, the breech position could lead to serious complications during a vaginal delivery, such as the umbilical cord becoming compressed, which would cut off the baby's oxygen supply and lead to brain damage or even death. Her history of a difficult first birth further complicates the situation, increasing the risk of a uterine rupture if labor progresses. A timely C-section will prevent these catastrophic outcomes, ensuring a healthy delivery and a full recovery for both mother and child.
