Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Most. Shirina Akter, a 28-week pregnant mother with a history of caesarean section and bad obstetric outcomes, has been diagnosed with a breech presentation. In this condition, the baby is positioned with its feet or pelvis downward instead of the head, making normal delivery highly risky. Without timely medical care, she faces serious complications such as cord prolapse, birth trauma, or stillbirth. Urgent monitoring and planned medical intervention are essential to ensure the safety of both mother and child.

Thank you for saving this life!

Background

Most. Shirina Akter, a gentle housewife who loves cooking, lives in a small tin-shed house with her husband, young daughter, and extended family of five. Her husband works as a day laborer, earning barely enough to provide food and shelter, leaving them with no savings to afford costly medical treatment. Now 28 weeks pregnant with a breech baby and a history of caesarean section, she faces a high-risk delivery that demands urgent medical intervention. Without treatment, both she and her unborn child face life-threatening complications, including birth trauma, asphyxia, or stillbirth. The family’s dream of welcoming a healthy baby could turn into tragedy unless she receives timely support.

Medical history

Admission and OT : 01.09.2025. Discharge : 06.09.2025. Problem : Breech presentation. Shirin Akter was admitted to the hospital on September 01, 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby. Both mother and newborn were discharged on September 06, 2025, in good health. Her husband and mother in law came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. Her husband was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Prognosis

With a timely caesarean section, Most. Shirina Akter and her baby have a high chance of a safe delivery, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation. Proper surgical intervention can prevent life-threatening complications such as birth trauma, cord prolapse, or stillbirth. The procedure will allow the baby to be born healthy and reduce the physical stress and danger to the mother, especially given her previous caesarean and obstetric history. If left untreated, both mother and child could face severe, potentially fatal outcomes, turning what should be a joyful birth into a critical medical emergency. Early intervention is therefore crucial to safeguard the lives and future health of both mother and baby.
