Ten-year-old Tasniya Tabassum Taniya, a bright class ten student who dreams of becoming a teacher, has been struggling with severe throat pain and nasal obstruction for over a year, recently diagnosed as adenotonsillitis. Her father, a poor farmer earning only about 7,000 BDT a month, supports a family of six in their small tin house, leaving no means for costly medical expenses. Despite her determination, Tasniya often misses school because of constant pain and difficulty breathing at night. Without surgery, her condition will worsen, threatening her studies, health, and future dreams. This gentle, hardworking girl’s only hope is timely treatment so she can return to school and continue pursuing her dream of becoming a teacher.
Medical history
Tasniya Tabassum Taniya was admitted to the hospital on September 05, 2025, with Adeno-tonsillitis. On the same day, doctor conducted Adeno-tonsillectomy. After seven days, she was discharged on September 06, 2025, in good health. Her father and mother came to the hospital to receive her. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. Prognosis
If Tasniya receives timely adenotonsillectomy, her breathing, swallowing, and overall comfort will significantly improve, allowing her to return to normal daily activities without constant illness. The surgery will reduce her risk of recurrent throat infections, improve her sleep quality, and help her regain energy for study and play. However, if left untreated, her condition may worsen, leading to chronic infections, sleep disturbances, poor growth, and reduced quality of life. Early surgical intervention is therefore crucial to ensure her healthy development and long-term well-being.
