Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Severe malaria is a critical complication of malaria infection, often caused by Plasmodium falciparum, that leads to serious organ failure, metabolic abnormalities, or severe blood disorders. Justus came in to the facility unable to walk alone was supported by a well wisher who met him by the road side. He had complains of backpain ,headache, vomiting and joint pain that had lasted for 3 days, laboratory tests was done and a diagnosis of malaria was made, since he could not retain oral medications he was then admitted for monitoring and management.

Background
Justus is a 14-year-old boy who lives with his step-grandmother after losing both parents at the age of 10; this left him and his brother homeless and orphans. Despite these challenges, Justus is a jovial and hardworking boy. He enjoys playing football at school, singing in the church choir, and taking part in school drama. He dreams of becoming a clinician in the future. Justus has been unwell but has not been unable to afford consistent medical care. Over the past month, he had frequent illnesses with symptoms including vomiting, back pain, severe headaches, and joint pains. His grandmother first took him to a dispensary, but treatment did not improve his condition. They later tried herbal medicine, which also proved ineffective. His vomiting worsened, and he was finally brought to the hospital.
Medical history
Justus, a 14-year-old senior secondary student orphaned at a young age, was brought to the facility by a kind stranger after being found unable to walk on his own. He had been suffering for 3 days with severe symptoms: back pain, headache, vomiting, joint pain. Laboratory tests confirmed severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum - a life-threatening condition that can lead to organ failure and severe blood disorders. Treatment process include hospital admission due to inability to retain oral medications, IV Quinine Sulphate initiated for malaria treatment, antibiotics Complete recovery from severe malaria. Successfully returned to school. Justus' step-grandmother expressed deep gratitude to Helpster Charity for funding his treatment. The family is relieved and joyful seeing Justus "back on his feet" and thriving again.
Prognosis
Justus was commenced on IV Quinine Sulphate for treatment of malaria and by day 2 of admission his prognosis was good since he had responded well to the treatment given, he only complained of cough which was covered by an antibiotic and he responded well too.
