Tasnim Akter, a gentle and hardworking 18-year-old housewife from a poor rural village, lives with her husband, a struggling farmer, and her elderly mother-in-law in a small tin-roofed house. When she suddenly develops severe lower abdominal pain and watery discharge late in her pregnancy, the family panics but cannot afford the costly hospital treatment. Her husband desperately tries to borrow money from neighbors, but most are farmers like him, burdened by their own debts. Despite her pain, Tasnim remains calm and prays quietly, showing her strength and faith even in fear. Without timely treatment, both Tasnim and her unborn baby are at grave risk — infection, preterm birth, or even death — turning the family’s hope for new life into a desperate fight for survival.

The patient admitted in the hospital on 20/09/2025 with the complaint of 34+ weeks of pregnancy with PROM with fetal distress and the LSCS was done under SAB on 20/09/2025. After the LSCS the patient give birth a girl. After that the patient was discharged on 21st September 2025 with advice. Tasnim Akter, an 18-year-old mother, was admitted to the hospital on 20th September 2025 with 34+ weeks of pregnancy complicated by PROM and fetal distress. She underwent an immediate lower segment cesarean section (LSCS) under spinal anesthesia (SAB) the same day, resulting in the safe birth of a healthy baby girl. After close monitoring and proper post-operative care, both mother and baby recovered well and were discharged on 21st September 2025 in stable condition. Tasnim and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, its dedicated volunteers, and the Al Manar Hospital for their timely support and compassionate care during this critical time. Their assistance not only saved two lives but also restored hope and happiness to a humble village family.
