Ummulkairi is 2 years old, she is the 3rd child among 3 children living with her parents. They live in a 2 rooms apartment and a single toilet. They use water from the well for their daily activities. They don't have access to electricity and they're struggling to feed everyday. Ummulkairi has been having ceaseless cough for some days coupled with fever and lack of appetite. No home remedy or money for hospital bill. A fellow informed them about Helpster Charity and they visited Wholecare hospital to be be evaluated. Upon presentation at our hospital and after evaluation, he was diagnosed with bronchopneumonia.

Ummulkairi a 2 years old child, brought to WholeCare facility with difficulties in breathing, fever and not having interest in food. She was admitted and diagnosed with bronchopneomonia, this was threatening and she was immediately placed on injection antibiotics and other supportive medications. She became stable, the unpleasant sound stopped and she began to eat. She was discharged and given some take home orals, a time for follow-up was given. The family appreciate Helpster Charity for supporting and saving their child.

Ummulkair prognosis is generally good with timely initiation of antibiotic therapy and supportive care. However, in children, the risk of serious complications such as intestinal perforation, gastrointestinal bleeding, or relapse is higher if not promptly and adequately managed.
