Medical history
Dina Akter was admitted on 05.09.2025 with severe lower abdominal pain and a breech presentation at full term. Considering her condition, a cesarean section was performed on the same day. The surgery was successful, and both mother and baby are now healthy. She recovered well under post-operative care and showed steady improvement. Dina was discharged on 08.09.2025 in good health, and the overall treatment outcome was positive and successful.
Prognosis
The doctor explained that with timely medical intervention, especially a cesarean delivery, both Dina and her baby have an excellent chance of surviving safely and beginning a healthy life together. The procedure would greatly reduce the risks of prolonged labor, oxygen deprivation, or injury to the baby, while also protecting Dina from severe complications. Without treatment, however, the breech presentation could cause the baby to become stuck during delivery, leading to fetal distress or even death.
