Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About gynecology

Background

Rokshana Parvin, a caring and hardworking housewife, lives in a small tin-made house with her husband, young daughter, and four other family members, surviving on her husband’s meager 8,000 BDT monthly income. Now 38 weeks pregnant, she faces a breech presentation with a history of a previous cesarean section, putting both her life and her baby’s at serious risk. Despite her gentle and resilient nature, her family cannot afford the urgent medical care she needs for a safe delivery. Without timely intervention, Rokshana could experience cord prolapse, birth trauma, or even stillbirth, threatening the well-being of both mother and child. Her family, already struggling to meet basic needs, is desperately hoping for support to save her life and give her baby a healthy start.

Medical history

Rokshana Parvin was admitted to the hospital on September 15, 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby. Both mother and newborn were discharged on September 19, 2025, in good health. Her husband came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. Her husband was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Prognosis

With a timely caesarean section, Most Rokshana Parvin and her baby have a high chance of a safe delivery, minimizing the risks associated with breech presentation. Proper surgical intervention can prevent life-threatening complications such as birth trauma, cord prolapse, or stillbirth. The procedure will allow the baby to be born healthy and reduce the physical stress and danger to the mother, especially given her previous caesarean and obstetric history. If left untreated, both mother and child could face severe, potentially fatal outcomes, turning what should be a joyful birth into a critical medical emergency. Early intervention is therefore crucial to safeguard the lives and future health of both mother and baby.
