Fulmoti Rani is a second-gravida woman, currently 37+ weeks pregnant with a single viable fetus, and the baby is in a breech presentation, meaning the feet or buttocks are positioned to come out first instead of the head. This makes a normal vaginal delivery dangerous. Additionally, Fulmoti has a previous history of a cesarean section due to complications in her first pregnancy, which further increases the risk of uterine rupture or fetal distress during labor.

Background
Fulmoti Rani, a gentle and hardworking 30-year-old mother, is nearing the end of her high-risk second pregnancy, but her husband Hiren, a day laborer, earns barely enough to feed their family of five, leaving them unable to afford the lifesaving treatment she now needs. Their first child, 7-year-old Kokil, and Fulmoti’s elderly mother-in-law depend on her, yet her past complicated cesarean and the baby’s current breech position put both mother and child in real danger without proper medical care. Despite her strength and dedication to her home and family, Fulmoti’s condition could lead to life-threatening complications during delivery if help doesn’t arrive. The family learned about Helpster while desperately searching for support, hoping this time they won’t have to sink deeper into debt as they did with her first birth.
Medical history
The patient, Fulmoti Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 26th November 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 1th December 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
The doctor has advised that a Lower Uterine Segment Cesarean Section (LUCS) is the safest option for Fulmoti, given the baby’s breech position and her previous cesarean history. With this treatment, both mother and baby have an excellent chance of a safe delivery and healthy recovery. Without the LUCS, attempting a normal delivery could lead to life-threatening complications, including uterine rupture, severe bleeding, or distress for the baby. The doctor warned that delaying or avoiding the procedure puts both lives at serious risk, especially at this advanced stage of pregnancy. Timely surgical intervention will greatly improve the chances of a positive outcome for the entire family.
