Most Mousumi, a 21-year-old gentle and polite young woman who loves keeping her home tidy and dreams of owning a peaceful home, is now 8 months pregnant with her second child. She lives in a crowded camp with eight family members, and her husband’s limited income is barely enough to cover daily necessities, making it impossible to afford the urgent medical care she now needs. Her baby is in a breech position, and she suffers from persistent lower abdominal pain, putting both her life and her child’s at serious risk if delivery is attempted naturally. Without timely medical intervention, Mousumi and her unborn baby could face life-threatening complications during birth. Her family is deeply worried and desperate, praying for help to ensure a safe delivery for their beloved Mousumi.
Medical history
Mousumi was admitted on 16.09.2025 due to her high-risk pregnancy with breech presentation and persistent lower abdominal pain. On the same day, she underwent a successful cesarean section to ensure the safety of both herself and her baby. The operation was completed smoothly without complications, and she and her newborn were closely monitored during the recovery period. Mousumi responded well to the treatment, her pain gradually subsided, and she regained strength. Both mother and baby remained healthy and stable, and she was discharged safely on 19.09.2025, able to care for her newborn and continue her recovery at home.
Prognosis
Mousumi is 36 weeks pregnant with a breech presentation and persistent lower abdominal pain. At this stage, the breech position increases the risk of complications during delivery, making vaginal birth unsafe. The ongoing abdominal pain may indicate uterine stress, preterm contractions, or other underlying concerns that require close monitoring. Timely medical intervention, likely through a planned cesarean section, is essential to ensure the safety of both mother and baby. If left untreated, her condition could worsen, leading to serious risks such as birth injuries, umbilical cord complications, fetal distress, prolonged labor, or other life-threatening outcomes for both Mousumi and her child.
