Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About liver & kidneys

Recently, doctors diagnosed Sabbir with a left-sided proximal ureteric stricture, which has led to moderate hydronephrosis—a serious condition where the kidney becomes swollen due to blocked urine flow. This has been causing him severe abdominal pain, weakness, and frequent discomfort, disrupting his daily life. If left untreated, the condition could permanently damage his kidney, making urgent surgery essential. With proper treatment, he has a strong chance of recovery and regaining a healthy, active childhood

Thank you for saving this life!

Background

Sabbir Islam, a 10-year-old boy with a warm smile and gentle nature, lives with his elderly grandmother after losing both his parents at a very young age. His grandmother, who has no income of her own, struggles to provide even basic needs, relying on the small kindness of neighbors to survive. Despite these hardships, Sabbir remains playful, hopeful, and deeply loved by his classmates and community. Doctors have advised that he needs an urgent pyeloplasty surgery to repair the blockage in his kidney, but without it, his condition will worsen, leading to permanent damage, life-threatening complications, or even kidney failure. Financial support is the only way to give Sabbir the chance to overcome this painful chapter and continue growing into the bright, resilient child he is meant to be.

Medical history

Sabbir Islam was admitted into the hospital on 18/09/2025 with the complaints of abdominal pain and vomiting once, high fever with frequency of micturition. The patient was diagnosed as left PUJ obstruction. The A-H pyeloplasty with DJ stent in situ operation was done on 25/09/2025. And the patient was discharged on 5th POD with medicine and advice. Today, Sabbir is slowly regaining his strength, smiling more, and dreaming again. His recovery is a symbol of resilience, love, and renewed hope for his future.

Prognosis

According to the doctor, if Sabbir undergoes the recommended pyeloplasty surgery, his kidney function can be restored, relieving the blockage and preventing long-term damage. This treatment will significantly reduce his pain, weakness, and recurrent health problems, allowing him to return to school and daily activities like other children. With proper medical care and follow-up, he has an excellent chance of leading a healthy and active life. However, if left untreated, the obstruction will continue to worsen, potentially causing irreversible kidney damage, life-threatening infections, or even complete kidney failure. Timely surgery is therefore critical to saving his health and future.
