Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections

Towkir Osman, a five-year-old boy, has been diagnosed with chronic adenotonsillitis, a long-term inflammation of the tonsils and adenoids. This condition causes frequent sore throats, mouth breathing, fever, and difficulty swallowing, often disrupting his sleep and appetite. The repeated infections have weakened his health and made everyday activities painful and tiring. Without proper surgical treatment, Towkir may continue to suffer from recurrent infections, breathing difficulties, and poor growth, affecting his overall well-being and development.

Thank you for saving this life!

Background

Towkir Osman, a sweet and curious five-year-old boy, dreams of growing up to make his family proud. He lives with his parents, grandparents, and younger brother in a small village, where his father earns only 6,000 taka a month as the imam of a local mosque — barely enough to cover food and basic needs. For the past year, Towkir has suffered from chronic throat infections that make it hard for him to breathe, eat, and sleep properly. The doctor advised an adenotonsillectomy to end his suffering, but the family cannot afford the hospital expenses. Without this surgery, Towkir’s health may continue to decline, leaving him weak, often sick, and unable to pursue the bright future his parents dream of for him.

Medical history

A little boy named Towkir Osman had been suffering from Chronic Adenotonsillitis infections for the past year, and he was unable to eat properly. On 27th September 2025, he was brought to us, and we consulted a doctor for him. After examination, the doctor decided that surgery was necessary. We immediately admitted him to the hospital same day, and that very night the surgery was successfully performed. The next day, the child was discharged. He is now completely healthy.

Prognosis

The doctor has recommended an adenotonsillectomy under general anesthesia (GA) as the best treatment for Towkir Osman’s chronic adenotonsillitis. This surgery will remove his infected tonsils and adenoids, allowing him to breathe normally, sleep better, and be free from constant throat infections and fevers. After recovery, Towkir is expected to regain his strength, appetite, and overall quality of life, enabling him to play and learn like other children his age. However, if left untreated, he will continue to suffer from recurrent infections, difficulty breathing, and poor growth, which may eventually affect his physical and mental development. Timely surgery is therefore essential for his healthy future.
